MICHAEL HARPER is a California-born, Salvadoran-American poet and educator who recently moved to Seattle from Portland because you have to grow up eventually. He is an editor at Gramma and the author of the chapbook MORE SURFACE (Snoot Books, 2014). His work has appeared in SUSAN/THE JOURNAL, Poplorish, Jerkpoet, Verdad, Dash Literary Journal, and elsewhere.
