JUSTIN DUFFUS is a painter living in Seattle. He studied painting at the Pennsylvania Academy of Fine Arts. His work has been shown in the Smithsonian Museum and Bambi Gallery in Philadelphia; his first solo show will be at Seattle’s Blindfold Gallery in March 2014. He works most often from found images where he finds a universal, collective memory; these images provide an armature that the painting process builds and destroys.
